Things to look forward to (Week 1):
So I’m starting this whole new challenge thing for myself this year. Every week, instead of posting something sad or angry or… whatever, I’ve decided to post a list of things I should look forward to for the week to come. It’s not that hard or anything, but I hope that by doing this, I’ll be able to distract myself from negative thoughts. Also, it’s not like I’m going to stop posting my extremely emotional posts. I’ll still do ‘em if I feel like it.
Ooh, I also have another challenge for myself this year. I want to be able to learn how to cook at least 1 new dish every week. So by the end of the year, I should be able to cook 52 new dishes—be it simple, unbearably complicated, painfully easy, or hard. I’ll probably post pictures from time to time (“pictures or it never happened”, is what my friends always say).
Anyway, on to my list:
- Going back to my apartment in Manila tomorrow to clean and fix everything and all (Yay! Freedom from unwanted memories and independence!)
- First dish of the year! I’m thinking about making pasta, or maybe something with chicken. Hmm, I gotta find a recipe for that.
- School on the 5th. I get to see my friends again. :)
- Shoppingggg!
- What’s better than shopping? That’s right. GROCERY SHOPPINNNGGG. (Yeah, I’m weird. Deal with it.)
