Week 1: Fettuccine Alfredo
I figured that I should start the year with something really simple—something not even I could screw up.
I loved making it ‘cause it was so unbelievably easy. All I had to do was boil the pasta and mix in the sauce (which was a bit tricky since at first, I couldn’t get the right consistency for the sauce). It ended up being better than I thought it’d be and the 30 minutes I spent working on it was really really worth it.
Cooking made me feel really nice. It made me feel like I had a purpose, you know? Like something good was going to come out of all the hard work you put in. If this cooking thing really is a phase like my friends say it is, then I hope I never grow out of it.

PS This picture is really REALLY bad. Funny, noh? Haha
